Canadian Pizza & being blessed?

yesterday i was really hungry! i controlled well and was hoping lunchtime to come by quickly..
we, crabbies, decided to order pizza for lunch.

we were discussing abt pizza hut having 2 for 1 promotion..
glenn gave me the number 6241xxxx
for that instance it really didnt occur to me that i was canadian pizza's number

the operator picked up the phone
and i said "hello.. pizza hut?"
she sounded annoyed when she replied "no.canadian pizza"

den after that i was like "ok sorry!"
i went on with "what promotion do you have now?"
"our usual" - which i figured was their 2 for 1 promotion. but does it kill to just tell me its 2 for
1?

after asking the rest.. i told her "can i have 1 hawaiian pizza and 1 meat lovers?"
she replied "you haven't even tell me your address" - ehhh, she didn't ask what!

ok fine.
"Bukit Batok Street 22, Shatec"
before i hear any replies from her side, i heard this re-dialing tone which i figured ,again, was a transfer to the bukit batok outlet.

the pizza arrived 15mins later than expected - forgiven, cos its ok as long as we have our pizza before lessons starts~

seriously, the pizza wasn't good at all. hmm, i didnt have a good lunch!

i msged my mum and dad after my lousy lunch, saying that i'm craving for my all-time favourite steak. heh! soooo there u go! we went for steak for dinner. yum yum! :D


apart from all the grumbles. at the end of the day, i tell myself not to grumble more cause of somethings i watched on tv the past few days which made me feel really blessed. i shared with Mich & Yang Heng, so just thought of sharing with all :)

i was watching ripley's believe it or not which featured this guy nicknamed the wolf man.. he is filled with hair all over his body, meaning his face.. his arms.. everywhere that is supposed to be skin-ed is hair-ed. can u imagine? he looks like a black figure from afar.. but when the camera show his close-up hair..it makes my hair stand. blissfully, he managed to find himself a wife and now he has a son who is normal. whom he prayed so hard, hoping his son wldnt have his wolf-man-genes.. God answered by giving him a really adorable son!

i was watching the news on thursday night. they were figuring this company whom managed to manufacture clothes made of cloths which give the least friction to the skin. its actually for people with this particular disease (i cant remember whats the medical term for it) whereby their skin is so sensitive that every move can tear their skin apart. can u imagine that? they interviewed a kid with such disease. she told the reporter that when she's on bed and when she makes a turn, she will end up with 2 blisters on her back.

seriously, i can't imagine there's such weird diseases with people suffering from them.
